SOUND Tan Sister Radio is an alternative indie punk trio comprised of Max Greenhalgh, vivacious bassist extraordinaire, Andrew Ware, the Moon-esqe drummer, and Aaron Dennis, guitarist and lead singer. Since they formed in 2005, they have played with the likes of The Silent Comedy, Get back Loretta, Scarlet Symphony, The Truckee Brothers, The English Beat, and Steve Poltz, among others, and have released two EPs, Damn the Salsa Witch (2006) and Runts of the Litter (2008) (both included).
The band sounds like The Clash and Bob Dylan hanging out and talking about punk music and how it perpetuates the social differences in our society, when, thoroughly inebriated, Nirvana and The Replacements bust in and throw them both in the Trunk Of their 1989 Ford Tempo. Driving down the road, they all crash into Elliot Smith and Jeff Buckley, and insurance information is exchanged.
